VeloCity Atlanta: Ride/Run/Walk to Support Grady Hospital!

Grady Health Foundation’s fourth annual VeloCity fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the beautiful Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills. With its vast 8,000 acres, our new location will allow us to implement any necessary COVID-19 precautions so that our participants may ride or run safely. VeloCity 2021 features a variety of distance options, including 100-mile, 62- mile, 50-mile, 25-mile, and 10-mile rides along metro Atlanta’s best bike routes and run/walk options, including the Grady Superhero 5K and a 9-mile trail run on the 8,000-acre Bouckaert Farm. Participants of all ages and abilities who register for this movement are invited to stay for lunch and an all-day, family-friendly celebration after crossing the finish line.

Registration starts at $30, depending on the course. Participants who cannot join the event on May 1 have an option to register as a Virtual Rider. VeloCity 2021 supports the overall mission of the Grady Health System. Participants can organize teams or raise funds as an individual. No matter how you move or what distance you choose, your registration fee and the funds you raise will directly support Grady’s mission.

VeloCity Atlanta Ride for Grady

In the face of a global pandemic, Grady stands strong. But the fight is not over and we need you more than ever. While we cannot physically be together, we do hope you will join us to ride, on Nov. 7, 2020 in support of Grady Hospital.

Why Grady?

At Grady, lifesaving never stops. Every hour of the day, patients receive the best medical care from 3,000 physicians who represent 80 medical specialties and are recognized as some of the nation’s top physicians. Since Grady opened 128 years ago, it has provided the same quality of care for rich and poor, black and white. Grady creates an open, safe space for all who enter to receive the care they need. Grady is known as one of the nation’s best trauma centers. Today, it is managing the dynamic impact of COVID-19 while still healing disease, caring for burns and correcting injuries – all while delivering compassionate care safely and keeping Atlanta healthy.

We hope you will join us.

Every mile and every dollar matters!
