Saturday, Sept. 18, 8:30 a.m. Islands Ride. 23/34 miles. Start at Forsyth Park at the corner of Bull and Gaston. From there, we ride south on Diamond Causeway where there is a clearly identified bike lane. Journey on to Burnside Island, then east to Jalapeno’s Restaurant in Sandfly for a rest. Members join us for our picnic, club meeting and RIDES!!!!

Saturday, 12 June, 8:30am for the longer rides,10am for the social ride. Meeting after everybody is done riding. There will be three classes of riders on Saturday: a slow Social group (speed determined by slowest rider); a medium B group (14-16 MPH) and a faster paced group (18-20 MPH). Please note that the Social ride will be approximately 12 miles whereas the other rides will be around 35-40 miles. The Social ride starts at 10:00 AM and the others start at 8:30 AM. A catered lunch will be provided at 11:30 AM. Everything takes place at Lake Mayer. Look for the CBTC B banner and bikes.

Saturday, 5 June, 8:30am, Ellabell Ride. 39/32/25/17. Ellabell, GA. I-16 W to exit 143, TL on Highway 280 for 2.2 miles, then TR on Wilma Edwards Road for 1.5 miles to Hendrix Park on the left. Park in the center lot next to the gymnasium. Note: Bridge replacement is underway on Acola Road. This work will continue through this year, so modified route guidance/cue sheets will be discussed/distributed by the ride leader prior to roll-out. Love Your Trail Day: Truman Linear Park Trail

The first Saturday in June is National Trails Day, so celebrate with Tide To Town. Pick up any litter and collect recycling, trim vegetation, and make sure Savannah’s Truman Linear Park Trail Phase 2A is in tiptop shape. Tools, supplies, and refreshments will be provided. More information.

Bike to Work Day Savannah

Friday, May 21 is National Bike to Work Day!
To celebrate the occasion in Savannah we are organizing a free bicycle commuting breakfast. We’ll be offering healthy snacks and coffee from The Sentient Bean to bicycle commuters at the corner of Lincoln and Henry streets from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Please stop by on your way to work to fuel your commute!
