The Velo Atlanta Cycling Club will host its 6th annual fundraising charity bicycle ride, the Rescue 1 Century starting in beautiful Social Circle. This ride brings much needed awareness to sexual and human trafficking and child exploitation in Georgia. This year, we will select and donate to non-profit organizations with missions or objectives that prevent or mitigate the impact of this pervasive issue.

Ride On Bikes/Ft. Benning Track Pad Century
South Georgia’s toughest century is back with 108, 70, and 40 mile options. There will be full SAG support along the ride with SAG stops every 20ish miles and a rolling SAG vehicle for all your mechanical needs. Stay after the century for the “Time Change Party” where the awards will be held. More information.
Wilson 100
The Wilson100 is named after Scott Wilson, one of the past presidents of the Southern Bicycle League who made tremendous contributions to improving cycling in the Atlanta area. Scott Wilson was in his late 30’s when he passed away in September 1986 of cancer. This being the original SBL Century ride that started in the 1970’s was re-named for Scott in 1987.
New for this year is the 100 Mile Bailout which will be 78 miles in length. On site registration and packet pick-up starts at 6:30 a.m.
2020 Six Gap Century and Three Gap Fifty
The Six Gap Century’s ultra challenging route takes you up and down six of the steepest climbs in the North Georgia Mountains. Test your stamina with more than 11,200 feet of vertical climbing over the 104 mile course. The Three Gap Fifty’s alternative route offers half the gaps and half the distance, but is nevertheless a demanding and challenging course at 58 miles.
