The Annual Tour of Coweta Century takes place on the beautiful country roads of Coweta County, Georgia. Cyclists will take off from Welcome, Georgia and visit Grantville, Moreland, Haralson, Senoia and Turin.

Build Party #5 at Chattahoochee Bend
Join Bike Coweta, Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park and MTB Atlanta for Build Party # at Chattahoochee Bend State Park! MTB Atlanta is building the new “Campground Loop” at the , a 3.5 mile beginner trail. This trail is Phase One of what will be 15-20 mile four loop system at the park. Come help us do finishing work on the new trail build. Have a mask, gloves, wear long pants and closed toed shoes and bring a pack, water, snacks, bug spray and your epi pen if you are allergic to bees. More information.
Bike Rodeo – Bike Safety Clinic
Join the City of Newnan, Newnan Police Department, Coweta County Parks and Rec and Bike Coweta for a free-to-the-public Bicycle Safety class. Learn the rules of the road, get a helmet and bike check, and learn skills such as start/stop, avoiding obstacles, and changing directions. More information.
Group Ride & Brown’s Mill Challenge
Join Bike Coweta at Brown’s Mill during National Bike Month, after work/school for a fun group ride! Registration is FREE, and you must be registered to participate in the ride or the challenge (signing our waiver). Cross Country MTB Skills Clinic – Level 2
This clinic will cover how to double your traction in corners, fast and efficient line choices, proper body position, how to read the trail instead of reacting to it, using trail features to your advantage, balance, braking, small obstacles, improved efficiency and more. More information.
Tour of Coweta Century to Benefit the Newnan Rotary Club
Join the Newnan Rotary Club as they host the first Tour of Coweta. Proceeds from the event will go toward the clubs many services projects in the Community. Cyclists will have the opportunity to enjoy all the things Coweta has to offer. Multiple routes will be available and great SWAG and SAG stops. More information.
Brown’s Mill Battlefield New Trail Build Day
Join MTB Atlanta and Bike Coweta this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on their new trail at Brown’s Mill Battlefield Park in Coweta County, just a few miles south of Newnan. Meet at the main parking lot by the container. Wear closed toed shoes, wear long pants, bring gloves, water and snacks. We will be clipping roots and doing finishing work on our new trail! More info.
