Webinar: The Role of Transportation in Improving America’s Health

August 11, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm EDT

Transportation access is one of the fundamental objectives of the public sector as a means to provide access to jobs, services, recreation, and all other elements of the movement of people and goods. It is also one of the most important ways government can enable residents to live healthy, productive lives.

Join Renee Autumn Ray, Georgia Bikes board member and author of Eno’s recent paper “Increasing Access to Essential Health Functions: The Role of Transportation in Improving America’s Health,” to discuss the paper and her recommendations on how public sector agencies can work together to improve policy and programming, provide a more equitable environment, and enable better health outcomes and a higher quality of life.
