Webinar: New Insights on Biking Among Older Adults

January 27, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST

Join representatives from the League of American Bicyclists as they  preview the 2021 Benchmarking “Mini-Report” on Walking and Biking Among Older Adults. The report aggregates national trend data on biking and walking to inform advocates on how best to advocate for older adults by expanding active transportation resources. The webinar will also preview a new training module within the League’s Smart Cycling course focused on ways older adults can get started or return to bicycling. Topics will include how to choose a bike (including ebikes, recumbents and trikes), flexibility and balance considerations, and more. This new report, Smart Cycling course, and webinar were made possible by the generous support of AARP. Registration and more information.
