Join Transportation for America, City of Bellevue, and the City of Edmonton on Friday, October 23 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm ET to hear how the cities have used video analytics to improve transportation safety in their communities. Franz Loewenherz from the City of Bellevue will share how the city is leveraging traffic conflict analytics powered by AI, video intelligence, and cloud computing to make systematic improvements to transportation safety. Karim El-Basyouny and Shewkar Ibrahim from the City of Edmonton, along with Craig Lyon from the Advanced Mobility Analytics Group, will share how the city evaluated the usage and benefit of Edmonton’s expanded bicycling and walking facilities—created in response to COVID-19—to ensure redesign efforts are optimally allocated.
