Ride SOFAR – A Ride to The Rescue

What is it? The 2nd Annual Ride SOFAR is a leisurely fun bicycle ride with various categories and lengths. Participate in rides from 1 mile to 50 miles!
When is it? Saturday, November 9, 2024 starting at 9:00am at the farm!
Who is invited? YOU! Your family! Your friends! Your neighbors! Your coworkers! EVERYONE!
Why is this happening? To raise awareness and funds for the farm, a sanctuary and home to more than 200 alpacas, donkeys, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, turkeys, and so many more rescued animals!
How can I participate and what does it cost? Be a Pig (a parent or guardian over 15 years of age) for $35 and have your piglets join you on a 10-mile turnaround course. Test your animal legs on a 25-mile course or 50-mile course as a Llama or a Donkey for $65 that travels throughout Oglethorpe County. Course maps are at the bottom of this page!
