Ride for a Cure!
November 18, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
Please join us on Saturday November 18th, 2023 for a Ride to support National Diabetes Awareness Month!
Long before Hubs & Hops was established here on the beautiful clay roads of Thomasville, we joined forces with Joanna Southerland to support the cause to Fight Diabetes. The staff at Hubs & Hops and Joanna know the struggles experienced by many in our local communities and around the world having children (now adults) with Type 1 diabetes. With the last diabetes charity ride happening before the pandemic – WE ARE READY to get back to it!
On 11/18, there will be an 8 AM clay road ride from Hubs & Hops. Supporters can choose routes of 15, 30, 45, and 60 miles with NO registration fee, just a donation of $1 for every mile. All donations go to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through JoAnna.
For each 15-mile donation, supporters will receive a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Drafts! Two BOGO cards [max] can be redeemed on the day of the event on November 18 at Hubs & Hops or Tvélo Brewing Company. Remaining cards can be claimed at Hubs & Hops or Tvélo the remainder of the year [expiring December 31, 2023].
🚲 Ride and Donate (or just donate – we won’t tell anyone). Donations will be collected the morning of the ride at Hubs & Hops until close of business on 11/18.
🍻 Support a great cause enjoy BOGO Craft Beer Drafts
🚲 The kitchen will be open and food available for sale starting at 11 am.
🍻 Live Music by Dana King and Gypsy Cotton kicks off at noon until 3 pm
🚲 Better yet! If you choose the 45 and 60 mile routes, you’ll get a first hand look at the race routes as a part of the Chainbusters’ Rose City Rampage hosted at Hubs & Hops taking place two weeks after on December 2!
