Jane’s Walk ATL Date Night Walking Tour… on the Peachtree Creek Greenway

FreeJane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, volunteer-led, neighborhood walks that generate conversation about the city and celebrate its vibrant past, present, and future.
The festival honors Jane Jacobs, who was an urban activist, author of The Death and Life of Great American Cities, and believer in the power of citizens to make a difference in their city.
Date Night Walking Tour… on the Peachtree Creek Greenway Along the Romantic Peachtree Creek!
The Peachtree Creek Greenway is a transportation and recreation path and park that, once finished, will connect all the communities along the North Fork Peachtree Creek like Atlanta, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Dekalb, and Doraville. Open from 6:00am to 11:00pm, the greenway is for pedestrians, runners, cyclists, and anyone looking for ways to enjoy nature.
Bring your date, invite a pal, come alone, or take a baby in a stroller on this tour as you explore Peachtree Creek Greenway at night. You’ll learn about and enjoy the lighted trail that runs along the once-forgotten Peachtree Creek, and make 4-5 informational stops where you’ll discuss the history of Peachtree Creek, its current condition, and future plans for Peachtree Creek Greenway.
After learning about Peachtree Creek Greenway, you’ll return to the starting point of the tour on your own.
This tour will take place rain or moonshine, but will be canceled if there is lightning or flooding. The tour will begin PROMPTLY at 9 PM. Please be aware that there are no bathroom facilities on the route.
