How Federal Legislation May Support Your Vision Zero Efforts

September 15, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Although safe mobility work at the local, regional, or state level may feel disconnected from from federal legislation at times, there are promising developments at the federal level. This webinar will be discussing some of the Vision Zero efforts included in the draft federal transportation reauthorization bill, which was approved by the House of Representatives. The bill has a while to go before being finalized, but it includes support for Vision Zero and the Safe Systems approach. Join the conversation with Jane Terry, VP of Government Affairs with the National Safety Council, to help explain what’s in the bill, what’s next, and action steps to help.
