Complete Streets: Design and Policy in Southern Georgia Communities
August 13, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm EDT
Do you want to learn more about how to design streets and influence policies to better accommodate all road users of all ages and abilities? Complete Streets are designed to safely accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, motor vehicles, delivery drivers, persons with disabilities, and more. The Southern Georgia Regional Commission will be hosting two virtual training events with guest speaker Elliott Caldwell, executive director of Georgia Bikes. Both events (8/13/20 and 8/19/20) are free to attend, and you can join the webinar anywhere with a computer, tablet, or smart phone and internet connection. For AICP-certified planners, each event has received preliminary approval for 1 CM credit. More information.
