Join Bike Walk Macon during bike walk month for interesting, engaging and informative virtual sessions discussing alternate transportation to cars – over COFFEE. Each week we will have a special guest moderator as we chat about all things biking, walking and coffee. This is a FREE virtual discussion open to everyone, whether you’re a seasoned, newbie, or aspiring commuter.

May 8: Safe Places to Bike and Walk During Covid-19

Rachel Umana, Executive Director of Bike Walk Macon will lead a discussion on the safest places to bike in Macon and beyond.

May 15: Basic Bike Maintenance with Bike Tech

Jim Langstaff and Bobby Shorr of Bike Tech will lead a discussion on the ABC’s of bike maintenance. Everyone could use a quick chat about what to do to keep your bike moving.

Friday May 22: Motivation to Bike or Walk

Let’s talk about how to get motivated to bike or walk. Our car is there conveniently getting us to and fro. What can we do to motivate getting on the bike once a week for an adventure, or walk to pick up dinner, biking to your friends house or walking just to get fresh air? Let’s talk over coffee about leaving the car keys at home and instead biking or walking.
