2023 TNGA (TRANS NORTH GEORGIA)

FreeThe Trans North Georgia Adventure is a 350-mile mountain bike route through the mountains of northern GA on trails, forest roads and paved roads featuring challenging terrain, beautiful scenery, and a whole lot of climbing. Approximately 72% of the route is unpaved, and the journey from the South Carolina border westward across the Chattahoochee National Forest and Cohutta Wilderness to the Georgia-Alabama border west of Rome, GA is a beast.
Billed as an adventure — ‘not a race’ — finishing times are recorded and documented for comparison. But, there is no podium nor prize. Participants are required to register, sign a waiver, and carry a SPOT tracker, but there is no fee to participate.
