Renee Autumn Ray has worked in policy, operations, and evaluation across transportation modes to increase access for vulnerable users, including people with disabilities or who are unbanked and lack smartphones. As a senior planner for the city of Tupelo, she helped pass the first complete streets law and the first three-foot law for bike safety in the state of Mississippi. She currently works in solution development for a transportation technology company, Conduent. Renee serves on the Transportation Research Board committees for Intelligent Transportation Systems and Emerging and Innovative Public Transport and Technologies.
