Ah, our favorite part of Bike Month…giving away money to improve bicycling in Georgia…

Congratulations to the cities of Albany, Savannah, and Tifton, winners of our 2012 Signage Grants!

We are distributing $12,000 among these three communities to help them purchase and install Share the Road signs, sharrows, and other bicycle safety signage. Funds are being provided through the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

If you live in one of these communities, be sure to thank the city officials and advocacy groups who applied for the grant funds, and stay tuned for bicycle improvements near you!
